Before you think, "Oh no another email from Ele," PLEASE READ ON - I have a provisional date to come and see you and would REALLY VALUE YOUR REPLY asap so I can be making plans :) It would be great to meet with you guys and to chat/pray/eat? together.
I'm meeting the Glasgow CU Social action/mission co-ordinator the week of 25th April and would love to fill you in on these exciting developments in the student scene - your support and connection with this would be valuable for both you and them. I'm suggesting Wednesday 26th April in the evening. (Failing that, possibly the Tues.or Thurs. either side of it) .
So, please can you reply to me; ele@... answering the following questions:
1. Would you like and are you be able to meet up on Wed.26th in the evening?
2. If not, are you free any other night that week and would like to meet up then?
3. Do you not want to be a part of this?
4. If you do, are there any specific things you'd like to cover in our time together - be it concerns to raise/topics to discuss/an activity to do or plan...?
Ultimately I would simply like to meet you and so discern how I can be supporting/resourcing you as a group/network. I would also like to share about, and invite you to, a one-day gathering in June called "Check 2" (June 24th, London) where we'll be exploring how SPEAK groups function beyond student-life. Your input in this as well as what you could learn from other Young Adult groups and their experiences would, I believe, be helpful for your group.
If you know of others who would be interested in connecting with others to pray and campaign, please let them know about this potential meeting. Encourage them to get in touch!
