Hi Folks,
Just wanted to say a quick thankyou to everyone who got along on Saturday to the trailbuilding - the progress was stunning! To get the trails linked up was a brilliant achievment. The trail (aka Zoom or Bust!) is now well on the way to getting finished in time for the SXC Race on the 21st.
Thanks also to Brodie and Abbs for the homebaking and Bruce for the oranges - flippin lovely!
Neil has got some more pics from Saturdays session up on his site, at: http://www.iseepeople.co.uk/firemonkey/blog/?p=286
We'll be up working on the trail Wednesday eve, if anyone can make it along? Going to do some fettling on the top section off the walkers path. I'll be heading up from the Rangers Office just after 5pm, aiming to finish up about 8pm. The best place to park is just above the Buzzards Nest car park, where the Black splits of the Red Route - it's just a short walk from here (i'll leave the gate open and put some signs up).
The next Saturday session is on 13th Sep. Was thinking this would be a good session to get the boardwalk wanged in, and do any other fettling required, and most importantly ride the trail in!
cheers,
Andy
