In mid- january 2005 there were :

Cousseau reserve : 189 (count realised by Pascal Grisser, SEPANSO)
Arjuzanx reserve : 15643 (count realised by nature gards of "Syndicat
mixte")
Captieux, miltary camp : 17629 (count realised by Parc Naturel Régional des
Landes de Gascogne and nature gards of Landes departement).
Saint Martin Seignanx reserve : 636

The total cranes in Aquitaine is 34097 cranes in mid-january.
