Dear all,

The yearly countings of resting cranes started in the middle of August, as
all previous years.
All cranes flying to the sleeping places in the lake will be counted twice a
week.

Up to now we have following figures;
15th of August - 590
22th of August - 1180
26th of August - 1420
29th of August - 1700
1st of September - 2250
5th of September - 2690
8th of September - 2870

Today (10th) was a great day (tail-winds, sunny weather and quite warm);
Several flocks started the migration to the south.
