Tonight, September 25, it was real difficult to count the cranes at Lake
Kvismaren. After that they was flying in to the three roosting places in the
sunset big groups begun to circulate and changed there roosting places. Our
counting/estimate became that there were a total of 11.979 cranes in the
area, thereof nine (!) with radio transmitters. There have never been so
many cranes at this halt at any time!

Participators in this count were Lars H Johansson, Linda and Kerstin
Kellgren, Dagny and Ragnar Edberg.
