Also in Estonia the crane miggration has started and in several places
hundreds of cranes are gathered. Crane censuses we will start next week
and the central counting days we have in September 18th-20th. We will
inform you about our census results.

This summer we colour-ringed 25 cranes and attached 2 backpack Biotrack
Radio tags with individual frequences 148.171 and 148.342 MHz. Please
attention that this year we started with new national colour code WBuW (23
birds were ringed with this new code and 2 birds with previous code WBkW).
