Dear all,

The countings of cranes at Lake Hornborga, Sweden started up in the middle
of August and up to now we have following figures;

16.8 - 560 ind.
24.8 - 1030 ind.
31.8 - 1610 ind.
4.9 - 2710 ind.
11.9 - 2820 ind
14.9 - 3020 ind.
18.9 - 4130 ind.

The breeding success seems to extremly good in 2006. The clutch size 1,31
(31 percent of the clutches have two youngsters). Studies in 2002-2005 shows
in average 1.21 in the middle of September (range 1,20-1,22).
