Hi Clas and all,
Â
in the past the Israeli ringing procedure was using the regular rocket net
practise that is well used all over the world.
Â
in the last season we've started a new method that is working on the same idea
of rocket net, but in stead of using explosives we're using a Pneumatic system
(air pressure) that is firing the net on the baited Cranes.
Â
so far it was working quite effectively and we're aiming to use the same system
in this coming season.
Â
all the best,
Itai Shanni
 I'd rather go birding...

Subject: [grus-grus] Ringing of Cranes in Israel
Dear Ladies and Gentlemans,
Now, it´s time for a real crane-amateur to take part of discussion of colour
combinations.
First of all. Thank you Gunther, for information what´s decided withing the
ringing group of ECWG.
Finally, my question.
What´s the trapping method in Israel?
Kind regards,
Clas Hermansson
