Use 2 sockets .. a smaller one that fits inside the frame mount and a second on the other side large enough so the rubber mount can slide inside as it presses...

Tim, you definitely need inner tubes! The air will come out of the spoke holes :-) I see no reason why you can't fit tubes, but check with supplier I guess....
