The Hiwatt G200R Amp Head features two channels – clean and overdrive, each with separate tone and volume controls. In addition to these settings, the overdrive channel can be switched between two distortion settings via an optional footswitch, the FS301 available from us, for a greater range of sounds whilst playing – this gives you three different tonal settings to switch between during a song without having to adjust any dials. The overdrive channel also features a contour control that can be used to alter mid frequencies for dynamic tonal variation. A master volume dial controls volume on both channels and reverb can be added via a master dial for atmospheric sounds.
