Does anyone know an automotive paint code that matches the 1973 deep red for the V7 Sport? Looking for a Dupont, Sikens etc code to give to my painter. Looks

I have used a local powder paint shop for years, their rates are reasonable and thier shop is 1st rate. That said I wanted to give DIY powder coating a try.

I used wrinkle finish on my triple clamp and headlight brackets for my 750 Sport. The product I used was a simple spay-on from a can. The trick I found was

I have used the electric method before, I have a plastic tub with steel plates on 4 sides, pretty good results in the past, but these pipes appear to be too

Looks like the original mufflers are pretty rusted through on the inside, the baffles are very siezed and the one I tried to push through just collapsed, paper
