WRITE YOUR LUNCH
Part of Hackney Literature Festival: Write to Ignite
Spend an afternoon enjoying a long slow Mediterranean lunch specially prepared
by the talented Italian-trained cook at Hackney City Farm. Savour every mouthful
while you also expand your creativity, during several gorgeously tasty courses
over four hours.
This workshop will use food to trigger senses, memory and imagination for
creative writing. (Your stomach will also be happy!) Expect your writing to take
you to unexpected places – we won't just be writing about food.
We‘ll be focusing on the creative flow of ideas and writing not so much on
finishing or editing pieces.
Suitable for all levels, including beginning writers and those who want to try
out the joys of food and writing. Is there are better way to spend a Sunday
afternoon? Treat yourself. Limited numbers, so book early.
Where: Hackney City Farm, 1a Goldsmiths Row (corner of Hackney Rd)
London E2 8QA, Telephone: 020 7729 6381
When: Sunday 2nd November 2008, 12noon – 4pm
