Sunday 10th May 2009
Enjoy some exercise, have a fun day out with family or friends and learn more about the East End’s historic past.
Join us for the Great East End sponsored walk on Sunday 10th May and do all these things while raising money for St Joseph’s.
We’ve planned a route of approximately 10 miles, starting and ending at St Josephs on Mare St, Hackney which will take in many East End landmarks and places of historic interest including those made famous by kings and knights and infamous by Lord Mayors and executioners. The walk takes us past the Old Bailey, St Pauls, the grizzly end of the Peasants Revolt and the start of the Great Fire. All the way, we’ll be walking through the area that St Joseph’s serves.
Do the walk at your own pace. Stop and have lunch or a drink along the way, enjoy your day and support St. Josephs.
Register now! Send us your details and we will send you a sponsor form and information pack so, straight away, you can start raising money to help St Joseph’s.
