Join Battuta for another thrilling morning's entertainment as they take us back in time to early 18th Century London.

 

“From Dawn till Dusk” explores the sights and sounds of the capital; from the bustling early-morning marketplace to the devotional tranquility of the church; an evening's entertainment at one of the city's fine pleasure gardens, or a bawdy sing-song in the local tavern if you prefer something a little less aristocratic. We may even be allowed to pop our heads round the door at the King's Theatre, Haymarket to see a rehearsal of Mr. Handel's new opera.

 

With a few surprises, a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, this Sunday morning concert will be a delightful way to kick off the Christmas festivities!

 

Hackney Proms are relaxed and informal Sunday morning concerts, with coffee, croissants and drinks available at the bar in the spacious promenade area and comfortable seating in the Empire’s superbly restored auditorium. Children are welcome and a refuge room is available for children with their carers.
