Hackney Refugee Forum (HRF) is the voice for over 40 local voluntary and community groups serving refugees and asylum seekers in Hackney.  As a network of organisations, we aim to influence local service providers and advocate on behalf of the needs of our communities.  We believe that by providing opportunities for exchanging, sharing and learning from the experience of refugees we can raise awareness of issues, enable them to access their rights, develop their well-being and take part as fully as possible in all aspects of community life.

We are based at HCVS, who are our accountable body, Hackney's leading voluntary and community sector support agency and your local CVS. We provide hundreds of local voluntary and community organisations with the key skills, knowledge and resources to respond to the needs of local people, especially those most in need.

Visit us at www.hackneyrefugeeforum.org.uk to find out more.

HCVS is supported by the Local Strategic Partnership - Team Hackney, The Big Lottery Fund, Department for Education and Skills (DFES), London Borough of Hackney, Learning Trust, Capacity Builder’s Improving Reach and the Home Office’s Connecting Communities Fund programmes.

HCVS is registered under the Charities Act 1960 No: 1069736 and is a registered Company No: 3365292. HCVS is a member of NAVCA – the national body for voluntary sector infrastructure organizations.
