Hi to all fellow Hag Folders!

Good luck with this site.

I have been a member of the Atherton forum since November 2003 and
have enjoyed reviving memories through photos and posts. I left
Atherton in 1972 after getting married. I live near Warrington now
but return to visit my Mum, Dad and Brother every week who still live
on the Hag Fold estate.

I had a contact recently from Peter Wood as he had seen my maiden name
and reference to Hag Fold. It turns out that we lived next door to
each other, albeit he is 10 years older than me and I remember his
parents and younger brother better!

My memories are very few which is a shame really. I went to Hekky Flek
1962-1967 and hardly remember anyone I was at school with.
