Re: Pansyette

Many thanks John

LBSC gives the Pansyette cylinder block a width of 1-15/16", which coupled with
a couple of frames at 3/32" provides a reassuring 2-1/8". (If using 2.5mm plate
then presumably, since 3/32" = 2.38mm, I simply make the cylinder block 0.12 mm
narrower.)

I'll email Christopher for an update on castings.

I did worry about the injector – fortunately Pansy's design includes a crosshead
water pump and a hand pump in one of the panniers. Like you, I fancy
experimenting with small injectors – if they work great, if not then I'll stick
with the pumps.

Any other bits and bobs that scale badly? I am assuming that most of the
'mechanical' bits will scale well, but that components involving steam flow /
heat transfer need examining.

Cheers

Matt

flange is 5/16".

The smallest available at the moment is 12oz which will soon knock the boiler
pressure down to zero. Even one of my 8oz ones might be a bit much!
