Many thanks to Ian and Steve who have given me the answer to my questions
regarding 'The Eagle'.
I emailed a similar request to Blackgates Engineering who still list a boiler
kit for the loco and they have sent me the contact details for Des Adeley. I
will be contacting him as soon as I can.
Maybe you can also answer another question.
Does the National 2 1/2" Gauge Association have a website?
Thanks again chaps!
Richard Cox.

My understanding is that all of Dave Goodwins stock and patterns were
acquired by the 2½" Assocaition when Dave decided to retire. I
believe that Des Adeley has been consolidating and updating the
materials that were passed on, but don't have the newsletter (where
he mentioned some specific details) to hand.
If you want details of how to contact the Association, please mail me
off-group and I'll be pleased to advise. I also have the original
articles by the way, and one of the Gauge '3' Committee Members runs
a very pretty 'Eagle' that goes very well - so it's a good engine to
build and run.
Regards, Ian.
