Hi there David,
I suspect that we haven't been specifically targetted, just that these
'systems' trawl the internet picking up e-mail addresses, etc wherever
they can.
This is why people such as Chris Heapy, (of the Model Engineering
support page fame)...
http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~chrish/
...insist that advertisers e-mail addresses are put in the form...
rlr20 at eng dot cam dot ac dot uk
...for example, to prevent them from being picked up upon.
Also, these undesirable e-mails frequently have unsubscibe information at
the bottom of them. Most people unwittingly repy to this asking to be
unsubscribed, thus confirming that the e-mail address is a regularly used
one, at which point the amount of spam mail coming to the address usually
goes up ten fold (if you see what I'm getting at).
Cheers for your attempts though to oust Miss H.a.S. Panties from our
midst, having to moderate the group sounds like an unfortunate hastle.
Yours,
Rich.
