Hello All

I'm new to this group and haven't had the time to browse to a
greater extent so apologies if some of these questions have
previously been answered!

We have an incomplete Bassett-Lowke Flying Scotsman, the building of
which commenced many years ago. I would like to see it completed
and running if possible (was fired up some time in the 1970's - more
of this later)!

My first question is with regard to the original B-L plans...having
browsed the n25ga website I suspect it may be possible to access
these - can anybody shed any light? To be honest, the locomotive is
largely complete so it may be fine detailing that's required.

Secondly - this locomotive was built to run on Meths (and has been
proven to do so). Is it possible to obtain a boiler certificate for
this? Or is it destined to be run in private? Is a conversion
possible?

Thirdly - we know it requires a new regulator; are there any known
suppliers of components such as this? Presumably I can easily lay
my hands on nameplates (I have transfers, ironically)?

Many thanks

Tony
