Re: bulleid pacific frames

Hi Bob,

The only reference I can find to a 3-1/2" gauge Bulleid is a short
series of 3 articles in Model Engineer Volume 134 Numbers 3354 to
3356. The authors were R. Coleby, W. Devitt and Neil Simkins. The
articles would suggest that drawings were available but it doesn't say
where from! It also suggests that the wheel castings were available
from 'a well known M E advertiser' but again, doesn't say which one.

Keith Wilson described a 5" gauge rebuilt Merchant Navy class loco in
M E Volume 153. You could possibly use the drawings for that and scale
them down to 3-1/2" gauge although that does not solve the castings
problem.

I would suggest that you join the discussion forum at The Model
Engineering Clearing House and post a question on that. You'll reach a
much wider audience and may just strike lucky!

John
