Last week at the Merstham model steam fair, there was a trader in the
main entrance, he had the usual range of Mamods and other models.

On his table was a Victoria 0-4-4 loco. I asked for a closer
inspection, the vendor told me it was of Basset Lowke design from the
1930's, but commercially made in recent times by a compamy
called 'Yesteryear models', (this was because of a small badge on the
bunker).
I suggested he was mistaken as it appeared in EM in 1944.
He pointed to a commercially made Mollyette, and suggested that both
were tied up with steam age of Kensington.

Has anyone one ever heard of commercial manufacture of Victoria?

David
