Interesting question. I have a set of original drawings for the LBSCR
0-4-4T (Victoria ?) by Donaldson and Piper and they state on them
Copyright LBSC so it is unlikely that he 'copied' the design from
Bassett Lowke. A search of the net has so far turned up an American
firm called Yesteryear Models who specialise in HO and N gauge, and
the original 'Yesteryear Models' produced by Lesney which were diecast
models of cars and the odd steam vehicle.
I have a large number of Model Engineer mags which I read through
whenever I get time and I have read a number of adverts by 'Steam Age'
over the years. I cannot recall ever seeing an advert for either
'Victoria' or 'Mollyette' from them. When I get chance I will go back
and have another look,
