I had the same thoughts on the copyright and producing drawings of a
manufactured product.
I guess the vendor was out of his depth. Also if he claims its a
commercial product and not 'scratch built' he can command a higher
price (£850). A few years ago on ebay I saw another Victoria
described as a Stuart Turner!.
On the subjectof Mollyette, they appear on Ebay from time to time
and were built commercially, I guess round the late 1970s.
I also recall Steam Age used the 'incorporating Bassett Lowke' in
their ME adverts, so maybe they were tied up in the manufacture
to some degree in the Mollyette locomotives
Perhaps an internet search on Bassett Lowke may provide the answer.
