They had their first litter on Tuesday morning (he's a dirty boy, i'd
not even had him a month!). So far all seems to be going well (despite
a shaky start, Orna didn't seem to notice she was giving birth and
left babies lying around as she wandered around the cage). Mum spends
a lot of time in the nest now, with only occasional trips out to
demand attention from us.

Fingers crossed all babies grow up big and strong! I'm hoping her lack
of eating them in the first 2 days means she's not too stressed by
it...I'm keeping her well fed with scrambled egg and porridge. I can't
wait until they're old enough to poke :D
