for this event, the first in a series of races organised by British Cycling for
us to take part in. I find this hard to take in as surely there must be far more
people out there who would like to take part and are not. My question is, why
the apathy? If we want to be taken seriously in the UK we have to be willing to
participate in these events that are being put on for us. Come on guys and
girls, please support this series of races as they may not be there for us next
year if we do not. Please post a reply if you are already registered or are
planning to.

I'll be there Dave, I know not all of you are serious about racing but it'll be
a good get together and the chance to ride on some good courses. Like Dave said
, we need to make an effort with these events if the sport is to keep growing in
the UK. They're only short events so the distance will be suitable for everyone.
there's also lots of other racing on the day so it'll be a good day out. please
make an effort guys, some of these events will be around town centres so it'll
be a good showcase for our sport and hopefully encourage more people to get
involved.
