Hi,
This message is to tell people about the British Cycling National Disability
Circuit Race Series for 2009 which kicks off with the 1st race at Salt Ayre,
Lancaster on June 7th.
The race series is open to anyone with a disability.
I have worked with British Cycling to put on this race series and my contact at
British Cycling is Phil Godfrey, Disability Cycling Coordoinator. I have posted
on the forum the UCI regulations for 2009 and some notes to accompany the UCI
cycling regulations. If you are intending to race, please read them. British
Cycling want to encourage as many handcyclists to take part in the series so the
UCI regulations will not be fully implemented.
The BC race calendar is available here:
http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/site/BC/dis/disability_calendar.asp
The entry forms are available here:
http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/site/BC/dis/disability_road_race_series.asp
Please make a note of the closing dates of the races and make sure you get your
entry form posted on time.
Please contact me with any questions.
I hope we will have a good turn out of handcyclists.
