I wondered about deaf cyclists myself.
And without seeming to 'label' ourselves with "deaf" in any obvious terms in
print on the back of your cycling jacket, why not have the telephone loop
logo (or something similar) attached on the back of the bicycle rather like
an "L" plate? Your thoughts, anyone?

Thanks for this idea regarding the "L" plate. I think I might have an answer now that will work in Wales, which is where I live. Because of the bilingual...
