Good news! STAGETEXT is pleased to announce Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and
Avenue Q will be captioned in September and early booking is strongly
recommended..
Here are the details:
Avenue Q
Gielgud Theatre, London - Saturday 5 September, 5pm
Booking details: 0844 482 5165
Email: access@...
Avenue Q is not the most upmarket of New York streets, and is about as far away
from Park Avenue as you can get, but it is home to some lively and off the wall
characters performed by an unholy comedic alliance of humans and puppets!
Princeton, a bright-eyed college graduate, has just moved to this neighbourhood
as he desperately tries to follow his dreams and discover his ever-elusive
purpose in life.

A tiny bank balance, the distraction of a busty blonde and a variety of weird
and wonderful friends and neighbours lead Princeton on a hilarious journey of
self-discovery. Life may suck on Avenue Q but being jobless, homeless,
politically incorrect, having sex (whether hetero, homo or porno... and that's
just the puppets!) are just some of the topics featured in the terrific songs of
this show. Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical, you'll want to be
first in the queue for Avenue Q.

Seats for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people are in the Dress Circle and
are £20.00. Please use the booking details above.

PRISCILLA, Queen of the Desert, The Musical
Palace Theatre, London, Thursday 17 September, 2.30pm
Booking details: Tel: 0844 412 4648 Textphone: 020 7087 7839 Fax: 020 7081

Email: customer.relations@...

Based on the Oscar® award-winning film, PRISCILLA tells the story of Tick (Jason
Donovan), Bernadette (Tony Sheldon) and Adam (Oliver Thornton), a glamorous
Sydney-based performing trio that agree to take their show to the middle of the
Australian outback.

PRISCILLA is a heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop
aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and
friendship and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed. With a
dazzling array of outrageous costumes and featuring a score of dance-floor
classics, including Downtown, What 's Love Got To Do With It, I Love The
Nightlife, I Will Survive, Pop Muzik, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Hot Stuff,
MacArthur Park, Boogie Wonderland and Finally, this wildly fresh and funny new
musical is a sensational journey to the heart of fabulous.

Seats for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people are in the Dress Circle and
are £25.75. Please use the booking details above.
PLEASE NOTE: If you book seats in the stalls for either of these shows, you will
not be able to see the captions
