Have any of the members watched "Blue Peter"
recently? Awfully strange question, I know-but my 13 year
old is auditioning for a part in a new kids TV show
on the BBC and the questionaire asks specifically
why he likes Blue Peter and what he would do to
change it. My answer would be based on the memories of a
39 year old, who can only recall John Noakes and his
dog Skip (?)(some sheepdog, anyway)...Valerie
Singleton, some other chubby bloke and a fat labrador.Oh,
and I also remember John Noakes slipping in Elephant
poop...or did I just see that years later in one of those
"blooper/outake" shows?
Anyway, can anybody tell me...is the
format still basically the same? Do they still have Blue
Peter appeals, where you save up all your silver milk
bottle tops to buy a guide dog etc. Do they still give
away Blue Peter badges? Are they still showing you how
to make Christmas decorations out of empty bog
rolls?
So, what is it, a teenage boy, in this day and age,
would like about the show? And how could they change
the programme to make it better?
Answers on a
postcard, please...
Well, I received the phone call yesterday, from my cousin (along with numerous emails from friends in the UK...) that drunken Lisa pulled the trigger and shot...
