No, I don't remember Stephanie Eastham. The name
doesn't ring a bell. Yeah, quite a few people have
mentioned that Wealdstone has gone downhill over the years.
I was home in '96 and I was really shocked at how
Harrow had changed. They were in the process of
demolishing the Royal Oak (Gateway) when I was last there.
I'm hoping to get back to England soon, for a quick
visit and I'm interested to see if I still recognise
any of my old haunts.
Where do the "old crowd" (if
they even live in the area anymore...) drink nowadays
now the Gateway is gone? Maybe I'll sneak in for a
quick drink and see how much everybody has
changed!!
By the way...amy952000-you never told me your real
name. I'm interested to know if we ever met.
If it's
like a big secret...you're welcome to contact me
directly.
