Hello all, hope you're all well, just to confirm that we will be meeting
at the church in Hayes, Middlesex, this Thursday, the address is :

The church is about 2 minutes walk from Hayes and Harlington main line
station, if anyone wants directions please email me with an idea of
where you're coming from and I'll bug DH :)

We would love to meet new friends, and everyone is welcome!

Unfortunately due to charges being made for the use of the hall etc, I
have no choice but to pass on the cost, and as such we charge £20 for
six sessions (three months), or £5 for 'drop in' members - though if
this is prohibitive please let me know and I'll see what we can do.

We will be there from 10:30 until 2 - though I will be tidying up from
around 1:30, any help is appreciated ;)

We have the use of the kitchen and most of us will be either having a
packed lunch or snack at some point.

We have the usual P+T toys, some Lego (or similar) stuff, crafts, table
football, board games, I also have a new table tennis set, so that
should be fun ;)  the set includes three balls, so we should get an hour
or so out of it before the balls all disappear ;)

The loose theme this session is our senses and we will have :

a 'feely box', and bag, for identifying objects by touch
vision experiments
optical illusions
blind taste testing of various fruit juices
noise experiments with balloons, drums, rice and popping corn.
Blind 'smell testing'.
To this end if any parents out there have any interesting smells, or
things to feel please feel free to bring them along.
