I would guess that a 'committee' run group would need to have someone
willing to :
Set up
Pack up
Be a back up for each of the above
Look after the money side of things (subs and buying resources)
Organise activities
Handle the email group, and respond to phone / email enquiries
It is entirely possible for one person to fulfil multiple roles - none
are particularly time consuming, but the group will fare far better if
everyone knows who is responsible for a particular part of the running
of it.
I did list all this before you joined the group, but I've no problem
going over it again - hopefully we can get something sorted, but I'd
like to be able to have a firm decision after this Thursdays session, so
I can let the church know, and work out who to hand over to.
On the flip side there are far more groups meeting / organised sessions
going on now than when this group started, so if things do 'fold' at
this point then no-one needs to feel isolated / abandoned - the same
support is still out there, and with a new group starting in Ealing
there are new opportunities too.
