Dear All
A few of us were discussing at yesterday’s Scout Hut meeting, that it would be nice to organise a trip to Odds Farm near Beaconsfield (http://www.oddsfarm .co.uk/) . The date we came up with was Tuesday 21st April.
Sue noticed that in this month’s ‘Families’ magazine (Thames Valley East), available through local libraries, that on page 22 there is a voucher giving one child free entry per full paying adult. The usual rates are £8.50 per adult & £7.50 per child – the group rate is not much cheaper at £6.80 /adult & £6.00 / child. The voucher certainly works out great value with the added bonus that if the weather is bad on the day, we can just re-arrange it for another day. Odds Farm apparently doesn’t have any / many indoor attractions so it would be better to go on a dry day & make a full day of it (picnic lunches at the ready).
Are any of you interested in joining us? Sue has some spare Families magazines (10+) so has extra vouchers for those that need them.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a great weekend.
Julie
