OK - change of plan. Below is the email I received from the Council:
------------
In response to your enquiry about a Committee meeting on 11 March
2008, I have to advise you that the original arrangements have been
changed.
There was to have been a meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny
(Corporate Services) Committee on that day, starting at 7.00 pm.
However, as a result of a decision recently made by Council, that
Committee no longer exists and its functions have been split between
two newly established Committees. The new Overview and Scrutiny
(Internal Performance) Committee will hold its first meeting on 5
March and the new Audit Committee will meet on 9 April.
The current NHS Health Committee of this Council, which was due to
have met on 12 March, will now be meeting on 11 March instead.
All of the Committees mentioned above will be open to the public to
attend, although it is possible that at some point in the proceedings
Councillors may resolve to go into private session because of the
nature of the business to be discussed. The Council aims to publish
an Agenda for each Committee at least 5 clear working days before a
meeting. At the same time as printing and despatching hard copies, we
ask an outside company to load the Agenda and publicly available
reports onto our website and these documents usually appear there a
few days after the despatch date. By checking this Council's website
(www.stalbans.gov.uk) it is possible for anyone with a personal
computer to view the Agenda and public reports for each Committee
meeting and to print them off as required.
I hope this is helpful.
