Is starting home education for A 15 year old to late?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #40 of 125 |
Hi all,
I am in the throws of pulling my 15 year old daughter out of her
school because of bullying. I've spoken to the school and the local
authority and suggested home schooling but both are keen for the
bullying issues to be resolved. Personally I don't want my daughter
to suffer further incidents so am reluctant to work with the school
on this and have kept her home for the last couple of weeks.

The options I think I have are to move her to another school but I
am concerned about her being the newby, or start home schooling but
I'm unsure on what effect this will have on GCSE exams. Although
bless her she is not an academic!

I guess I'm putting this post up to see if anyone can help guide me
to making th correct choice and maybe let me know if there are more
options, point me in the direction of good websites and whether it
is to late to start home schooling etc.

Thanks for taking the time to read and I look forward to sponging up
as much help as you give.
