Hi everyone,
We're going to be travelling for most of April and May- our first attempt at backpacking with our boys!! We're feeling a bit of trepidation but also a lot of excitement....
Anyway I'm posting because we're renting out our 3 bed house in Twickenham Southwest London for the time we're away. It's a great location for lots of HomeEd field trips. There are more details below for anyone's who's interested.
And secondly if anyone's done any travelling in Italy before we could really do with some tips on travelling by trains and advice on accommdation.
Thanks everyone.
Kind regards,
Anne
Within 3 miles of us are Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, Osterley House, Bushey Park, Richmond Park, Ham House, London Wetland Centre and a few other places.
Travelling into London centre is also very straight forward, we usually do it about once a week and my boys are 7 & 4 years. The museums at South Kensington (Science, Natural History, Albert & Victoria) are all on the District Line from Richmond which is a short bus ride away.
Our home could fit 3 kids max. The 3rd bedroom would suit a child up to 5yrs old and the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. Books, toys, games, cd's, DVD's and lots of books mean you don't have to pack much! We're looking at around the £300 mark per week
