Hi Laura,
Great to hear from you again. I set this page up to try and contact all
the old HEF students and find out what everyone is doing now. But maybe
it's a bit obscure and difficult to find1 There's also a Home End Farm
group on Facebook and you can see what I'm doing at home End Farm now
from www.home-end-farm.co.uk

Lots of love

Hi!

I was at HEF twice, I don't remeber the exact year, that should be
something like 1995 or 1996 I guess...

So more than ten years have passed since I last had any contact with
anyone from there... from those two great summers...

So here I am. Maybe someone remembers me, my name is Alberto and I was
from Spain.. I have seen some names in the posts that look familiar to
me (Alice, Tee, ...) and I remember some other that I haven seen: Alex
from france, with whome I shared my room, for example. So many things
come now to my mind...

And of course, one more name. A girl from Prague, called Janna, with
whom I was friend there. In her last day at HEF he gave me a postcard
with her name on it and something in german I think tha I have been
never capable to understand. It happens that I recently moved to
Paris, And when I started decorating my new room I found, within
several old pics, that postcard, Which made me think of hef, of my
friends from there and of her. So that's how, trying to find any of
them, I got to this website...

So thanks all and specially Su for this site... we may see each other
one day again!!

cheers,

Alberto

Hello Alice!
Of course I remember you! We stayed once together in the same host family.
Do you remember that we called the two boys Fred and George but "Fred" said
my name is Edward? That was so funny. I am still in school (I have one year
left). My parents moved to Germany (10min away from the swiss border) and
I had to go to another school. Now I have my own appartement near my new

What are you doing in Italy?
I just found a photo of you, I could put it onto the HEF page!

Dear Friends of Home End Farm,

I think I may be one of the oldest students @ Home End Farm.

As you may know - last year I took on the Cycle Sri Lanka,
www.justgiving.com/suinterchildtrust, raising fund for the
International Childcare Trust, www.ict-uk.org

In addition, I have created and produced a Colouring book for
children. The aim of this book is not only to share this unique,
valuable, and wonderful experience through pictures communication,
but also to implement an educating tool for children towards their
creativity, and an introductory and raise their awareness towards
international issues. It is to also to encourage Sri Lanka tourism
to be back on its feet after the tsunami tragedy. Furthermore, it is
also raising more funds for the International Childcare Trust. The
book is £5 each.

You can either donate me online now on www.justgiving.com/suictsu
This fund will go straight towards my challenge this year, Cycle
Cambodia! Yep ~ I must be REALLY crazy. This is a really big
challenge for me, and I need all your support PLEASE... This time it
comes with a twist!!

Not only I have to rise more than last year Cycle Sri Lanka
Challenge, I will also be doing more cycling! 80km more! Totally to
446 km (277 miles) over 5 days! (Oct. 27 - Nov. 5 2006) Yep - this
is going to be a real challenge, but I was told this is more flat
land - yippy!! Plus the week after - I shall be doing a week of
volunteering work with the Children of M'Lop Tapang Project. Yes -
not only I shall be seeing where the money goes to, M'Lop Tapang
Project and ICT has kindly given me permission to do some
volunteering work with them, which I am very honoured and extremely
excited - just can't wait. I shall be teaching kids the art skills
of mastering carnival masks making!

Please email or text me of the address where it is going to. Or pay
by cheque, email me your address so I can send you a Gift Aid form
for you to fill and send it back with the cheque. Please make
payable to "International Childcare Trust" What a perfect gifts for
Christmas for your little love ones!!
