The fat is truly in the fire now! Last night my computer suddenly
whitescreened and I had to shut it down for the night as I could
no longer see what I was doing! As My laptop is now definitely
singing its swan song, hubby and I have made the following
decision...

As of this afternoon, this computer will be taken offline; I will
send as much necessary data upstairs to the network client as
possible. The computer that will replace it as the I-net workhorse
has a flaw in its networking section and software that may not
be correctable; the net wars will begin again as only one of us
will now be able to surf at a time.

I ask that until I give the "all clear", meaning until I announce that
we have obtained a new computer, you do not forget us if we end up
offlined semi-permanently. The computer that will temporarily
replace this one for surfing is nearly in as bad shape as the one
I am working from now. The applications for Leave To Remain
in the UK took all of our spare cash and we have NOTHING with
which to replace our ailing machines. Wish us luck...I DID make
a plea that if heeded might have made this uneccessary; shall I
consider Myself unwanted now? It would be VERY easy to just
shut everything down and disappear!
