My birthday celebration has spanned the last two days,
thanks for your patience.
I have some interesting news today. Out of 103 videos
I have posted to YouTube, 41 have yet to see 1,000
views, 15 stand at between 1,000 and 2,000 views.
103-56=47.
47 out of 103 have passed 2,000 views; out of these,
11 have actually reached more than 10,000 views!
We are getting there, slowly but surely...next post
I will show you how you can help me to recover the
costs of the new computer and software I am forced
to obtain now...the cost has eaten into our household
bill paying cash, but had I not bought it, I might not
have been able to connect for more than the next few
weeks. This computer is not crashing daily, and it's
a simple matter of time until a crash will be
irrecoverable.
So I was forced to do a Buy it Now on Ebay for an
inexpensive barebones system to ensure my connectivity.
No OS meant that I had to take a cheap buy on Unbuntu
on CD; Ubuntu.org is backed up 10-12 weeks on shipping,
and is welcoming alternate distribuors, if I read things
rightly.
Ubuntu as OS means I am NOT out of the woods as per
multimedia production; I must still find a licensable
copy of Windows to run in a VM on this machine; all
of my production tools are Windows based, and I cannot
buy anything else for a while.
So while I will have a more stable computer, production
will slow to a crawl, and may well cease altogether when
this computer dies...unless I find a copy of XP, either
by buying it myself, or gifted from my wish list.
