As my skills as a Webmistress continue to develop, I am finding
new ways to explore interactivity in online communities.

The new graphic on the Group homepage is actually a FeedBurner
feed leading to a new hypnotherapeutic video channel I've
created on Veoh. I'm going to try to create and plant relevant
RSS feeds wherever possible from now on.

The application for permanent residence in England is imminent.
Until my status is determined and possibly beyond, I am on a long
break from hypnosis in general, save for creating new hypnosis
videos. This may well involve recording some new audio material,
but such has yet to be determined.

Only after I reminded YouTube of My Constitutional Rights
as a United States Citizen, did they comply with my demand
for the names and contact details of my accusers under the
Digital Millenium Copyright Act of 1998, which is currently
enjoying widespread abuse.

YouTube didn't even have the integrity to follow its own
TOS, which require it to inform a user upon receipt of
a DMCA Takedown Notice of the material targeted, and
the filer of the notice itself.

I filed the required Counter-Notice, which contained
much more information than the minimum by HMS Royal
Mail Special Delivery Signed For, to ensure recording
of delivery.

Accomanying the affidavit were supporting
documents re the counterclaim, plus a demand
for the contact details of my accuser or accusers.
When I obtained the information, I found that
I'd been caught in the 100,000 plus takedown net
initiated by VIACOM, and said company had not a
leg to stand on legally.

Their agent, one of three current companies having
developed "digital fingerprint sniffing" technology
said merely that "a few mistakes are bound to happen
when a takedown of this scale is intiated", when
questioned as to why perfectly legal videos were
targeted by their system.

I for one, think that we are dealing once more
with "vaporware", ala MS and other big conglomerates
who release software without working all the bugs out
beforehand!

In case some haven't noticed, YouTube is accusing me of violation of
my own copyright.

I've prepared an affidavit which should make two things clear to
YT/Google...first that I DO own all rights in the three affected
videos, and secondly that I consider this and any further attempts
to suppress my work to be 'tortuous interference'.

The term in single quotes is defined as follows...

"Tortuous interference is the unlawful interference into one's
contractual or business affairs.  For example, someone who uses the
web to defame an individual's business and contacts their customers
(or prospective customers) may be violating this law.  A special case
of tortuous interference called "Tortuous Interference with
Prospective Advantage" is available in some states to punish those who
seek to damage one's ability to find and retain new customers." (Quote

The English weather is still interfering with my health; too many
ups and downs in wet-dry, hot-cold cycles.  When the systems
stabilize (most likely after I receive Permanent Leave to Remain),
I will be more active.

I am currently considering the fate of the hypnotic videos
I have on user-upload sites such as YouTube.

So far, only LiveClip, MetaCafe, and Revver allow monetization
of videos. MetaCafe does not allow monetization of Adult vids,
plus all vids submitted must be under 6 minutes in length.

Though the YouTube Channel is a great promotional site and
attention-getter, it is making me absolutely nothing, plus
I am overshadowed by more high-profile female hypnotists
such as the Femdom Hypnotist Alliance, TranceProvidors,
and the newcomer Italian Madame Hypnose. All because I
do not choose to make Point of View or videos that
actually show me hypnotizing a live subject.

I haven't the funding for a pro-videographer or model's hire.
All My current funds are tied up in the Leave to Remain effort,
which will cost Me slightly upwards of $1000.00 at the end of
the day. Also I simply don't want to bother with 2257C and its
ramifications.

So currently under consideration, and the membership will be
informed of My decision...removal of most if not all hypnosis
videos from user-upload sites where monetization is impossible.
The samples on the Media Portals will be replaced by their
Revver equivalents, rather than the YT versions.

Don't worry, My readers...that is all the disappointing news I
have at this time.

As of tomorrow, Jan 15th,  I am officially "on vacation" from the
'Net.  Duration is indeterminant, as I have personal and business
affairs in the real world to attend to.

All Groups will be run and moderated normally; audio/video releases
are suspended for the current time, except for new postings to the
Broadcast Machine section of the Hypnomedia Portal.  I will be
unavailable for chat until further notice, but always available
through email.

Site updates including new postings to the Hypnomedia Portal are
suspended until February 15th.

Yes I decided to do it...

I uploaded the Christmas Edition of Hypnobound to
my new store at Clips4sale.com.

This means it will be taken off YouTube
as of midnite Chistmas Day.  No more free
views after tomorrow.  I am considering
the same move for ALL vids posted to
both sites; why bite myself in the
bum, so to speak?

Multicity, one of the free chat room providors
I used to deal with, has discontinued its free
chat room service.  This means a scramble to
remove the no longer working code from several
older sites I own; then a second scramble to
find a replacement web app to take its place.

If any of the members have tried out the UserPlane
rooms on The Realm of the Hypnotic Enchantress and
Hypnomedia portal sites, a consensus as to whether
I should simply go with UP across the board would
be helpful.

Otherwise I will continue my explorations in search
of the prefect chat room service.   I seem to have
yet to find anything to match Skype for voice clarity,
but that system will not install to a web, as we are
all aware.

Tonight is the eve of the Winter Solstice, the longest
night and shortest day of the year.  I will be off
celebrating and away from the Net until this weekend.

is an amateur Italian upstart on YouTube who declares
that she is "the best female hypnotist one the Web".

However, this woman's tech shows clearly that she
has NO formal training in hypnosis, the camerawork
is absolutely lousy, and she like most other female
hypnotists on the Web is depending on her looks
to entice.

In all My web-bound days, I have never found "the best";
I leave that designation up to the viewer, but I have
also found some veiwers are as blind as bats...lol!

actually hypnotize?"

An attitude I am sick and tired of long since.

This morning, I went up to YouTube just to have
a look around.  I found that I am just 4 subscribers
away from my first 100!

Would any of the members like to help me reach the
first "century" by subscribing to my channel?  Hypnosis
is not the only genre of videos available.  I like to
educate the masses where possible, so there are NASA and
JPL videos, and for further entertainment, my own daughter's
Paramount approved Enterprise videos made during the effort
to save that series from the axe.

I am recovering from an illness at the moment; this is why
posts have been few and far in between.  Wishing all a

I have done what very few YouTube publishers have.
I have learned to use the RSS feed availability
that you miss if you don't watch the onsite links
at the bottom very carefully.

In addition, I found an absolute dream of a HD
(High Definition) video streaming program that
will take this feed as a distributed channel!

Best of all, this program is Open source and free
to download and use.

So...I have converted the YouTube link button on
the index of the site into a video subscription
button instead.

Yet another site experiment, and something to speak after this
weekend.

YES...I an finally going to hold the first official chat in the
Portal next week.  Day and time still up in the air as of now.

I would do it this weekend, but we have a holiday that seems
to be nothing but Fireworks!  Guy Fawkes' Night commemorates
the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot to blow up Parliament in
1605, and the fireworks began last weekend, to culminate on
the Night itself, Nov 5th.

So as I don't wish to give last minute instructions on chat
room use with firecrackers in My ears, nor attempt to trance
a room under those circumstances, will do it aftet things have
calmed down.

In the meantime a bit of eye and ear candy that exists for the
enjoyment of my fans and also to help me learn more about PHP...

Indie Artist music directory on this site.  That is deliberate.
Jamroom is my first attempt to play with PHP and the different
ways of configuring it, other than the Flash Chat on the News
Portal.  It will also provide yet another easy way to find me
via media, as its blog will eventually point to all major media
caches I have on the WWW.

I have finally gotten the new MySpace portal to a satisfactory
point of rest.  After trying and discarding the new "My Video Space"
feature, I decided to just go with embedding user videos (My own edits
or compositions only) in the television shows section of My Profile.
MySpace has collaborated with a user vid site with too slow a streaming
rate; most likely LiveClip.

I am having a lot of fun on the learning
curves of the software suites I am using.

One is a very old friend; MultiQuence, which
has helped me to multi-track MP3s since 2002.
It also does video, and I finally gained enough
interest to play with it in that mode.

A couple of new ones...SUPER, which is a format
conversion unit; WMR or Windows Media Recorder,
which does live stream capture.

One file I have made was too large to fit anywhere
but my own hosting server or Google Video.

Having seen the streaming performance of Sharkle in action,
I have no idea whatsoever why a Yahoo 360 Blogger claimed it
was the best of the lot; better even than YT in that user's
opinion.

It tends to buffer every five to ten seconds which to me
means a very slow server.  I have found two more sites that
look to beat Sharkle out, and am currently in test phase
on each.  The YT Channel will most likely carry the most,
unless user viewing of my uploads bear out another as the
clear favorite.

One is iFilm, currently just in beta of user uploads, the
second, Blinkxx's Selfcast TV in same beta mode.

I will post links to these when my personal testing is
complete, and most likely post another poll so that
members may state which ones they would most like
to see new hypnosis videos uploaded to.

I ran for Yahoo Messenger as the second plane plowed into the
Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.  My roomates of the time
asked what I thought I was doing...

"As a hypnotherapist, I have a lot of work to do!"  I knew I had
friends on Yahoo who would be directly affected by the tragedy.

On the other side of the Atlantic, my now husband cworth20 was
doing exactly the same...

I believe between the two of us, we hypnotized over 250 people
between that day and the next...and lost count over the next
five days.  We relieved as much stress and grief as we could,
but there was no one to take our grief from us.

God bless the souls and the families of the souls lost five
years ago in that heinous attack; all the Gods bless America,
and keep her safe against anything of this scale happening
again!

My search for a site that will allow greater size uploads than
100mb continues.  If one is found, I can upload full size
hypnosis sessions greater than 12 minutes.

after I have throughly explored the site's features.

As you will see, I have not completed my profile as yet, for
the same reason stated above. But one hypnosis video mix and

I have begun making videos out of My to date audio releases.
In some cases, there are two video formats available for each
video; I will not leave My Mac-using fans out of the fun!

So far, i have six clips up, none less than 1:20 in length.

These are not your normal female hypnotist-on-camera
videos; I am using hypnospirals and other captivating
graphics for the eye-candy. I think you will like them,
as they will allow the subject to use his/her imagination,
rather than putting said imagination out of action by
"giving it all away".

My hypnotherapeutic video "Hummingbirds" has received
honors for most viewed and favorited for yesterday.

Happy Labor Day everyone...

I will not have the privacy for online chat today.
Our boiler, the source of hot water for the whole
house, has failed and must be replaced, a three-day
job.

I do believe I will be able to think about holding the
first chat soon.  It would have been hard to do while ill;
I could not sit down for more than ten minutes at a time.

Now the condition that caused this is easing slowly; I will
keep the Group members appraised.

I have placed several personal accts within the Group as Owners.
This is to prevent anything similar to the disasterous
account deletions with subsequent Group deletion
some Group Owners have suffered in the past.

I am writing this with some discomfort; I am suffering
some digestive system problems that have plagued me all week.
For this reason, I will not hold the official launch until

comfort for long periods of time!

Most people think of hypnosis as being induced by words spoken by
an actual person, or at least the speech sysnthesis of a computer,
or a recorded audio hypnosis session (still spoken word!).

In fact, it has been shown that hypnosis can occur in either total
silence, or via sound medium that contains no formal spoken
hypnotic induction.
