Hello my name is Elizabeth I lost my husband when he was only 38 years old to Cancer. I have two young children and found it very difficult when my husband died and couldn't get out in the evening easily so the internet became a lifeline. Everyone deals with death in there own way there is no right or wrong you just have to go with the flow. Over time the period between being down and not functioning become longer. For the first 12m I stopped eating lost 3 stone in weight, used the internet till the early hours frequently, crashed my car into a truck because I was so tired and not sleeping and traveled all over the country visiting different places I went to the Millennium Dome twice its over 400 miles away! I would just get the feeling of going to look for something pack a bag get my two young children in the car and go all within half an hour. I know it was the loss and searching for the one I love. It takes a realization that life will never be the same again and you have to adapt and reinvent yourself. I hope you can find comfort and friendship here and in time the strength to reinvent your lives. I have published a book for children to help them understand in there langue about illness and death. If you want more information or just a chat e mail me.
