... I've gotten the hang of up-loading photos so now you can see it better. The Staton chain drive is a Robin Subaru EH035 motor on a staton gear reduction box...

The mini-motor turned ruff by hand so I took off the drive roller---the brake down shown on the web shows a fiber washer.Mine didn't have one? Anyone know...

It's quite a while since I've had a Mini-Motor but, if I remember correctly, the washer is there to make the roller easier to remove. The roller is screwed up...

Jerry,I'd opp to find a re-placement ring.Brazzing the ring might work but if it broke it'would be inside the motor and could damage the cil.wall.If possable...

Thanks for that. Brazing is a possibility but I agree that a break up (which is distinctly possible!) would be catastrophic. The bore is 56mm so I'll check out...
