Hello all,

I have started running an Imperium 40k campaign with my best friend
and fellow 40k fanatic, and we decided to make it an Elysium Drop
Trooper campaign. We rolled up the stats for our fire team, and then
set to work on making the teams ride... the famous Valkyrie!

I thought it would be worthwhile to post the stats we worked up here
for peoples review/opinions/feedback, etc. So, without further ado,
here is the Valkyrie we came up with...

(Flyer/Flyer) Valkyrie Drop Ship
Crew: 2
Speed: 200 in skimmer mode, 500 in flight mode
Toughness: 90
Base Damage: 9
Operation Level: 45

1-30: Hull 14/14/14
31-40: Engine 11/11/11
41-45: Crew 10/10/10
46-50: Weapon 12/12/12
51-70: Cargo -/12/12
71-80: Hard Point 12/12/12
81-00: Wing 14/14/14

Weapons:
Hull mounted Lascannon (alternate weapon is Multi-laser)
(2) Side mounted Heavy Bolter Doors Gunners
(2) Hard points, with either Extra Fuel tanks or Missles

Cargo area can hold a standard fireteam, numbering (6) six in total.




And there you have it. I wasn't sure of the exact passenger capacity
of the Valkyrie, but looking closely at the Forgeworld model it seemed
there were enough seats in the drop down bench area for six, so thats
what I went with (I didn't have my copy of Imperial Armor handy to
verify one way or another).

Is it balanced?
Too tough? Too weak?
