well...no idea if something happened, but James emailed me the next
day to say that he couldn't believe how awful the callers were and
that it wasn't like that in his day. Whereas, probably, it was. He
was rushing off somewhere anyway. I will find out more...
Yes, I too listened on Wednesday and was delighted by the way in
which he despatched that complete idiot BNP member. But yes, most
of the callers wanted to talk about how far it is between Worsley
and Walkden which, as we all know, is not very far at all.
From a pure factual point of view, Stannage is in fact quite bad. I
mean, I'm sure he's better than nothing, but his displacing of James
H Reeve as the late night phone in queen for Manchester is nothing
short of scandalous.
