Nearly every caller tonight have been people that used to listen to him
16-18 years ago! There were several references to the past which was good.
I couldn't resist the temptation to send in a text message, so I was the
"leigh RMI fan" - I really was at the game, but I wasn't there as a fan, I
was there working for BBC Essex relaying Dagenham & Redbridge's performance
to the east londoners.
I have listened to 66% of the 3 days of his programme this week and I feel
like I have done nothing else... yet I used to listed to 100% monday to
thursday (he wasn't on Sunday nights was he?) and so I must have done
relatively nothing else between the ages of 13 and 16 except listen to the
radio and when I wasn't listening I was writing him letters.
Simon
