Whoa there People.

Let's not write his orbituary just yet.

Anyone searching the net for JHR are gonna land here
long before they get to
Key (he ain't mentioned on the Key site)

Is it not the job of this site to support it's man,
leaving first-time
visitors in absolutely no doubt, that on leaving here,
their very next
action must be, to hit "listen now" on Key's website
because he's BACK, that
EVERY show, is a GREAT show? On the mood that's being
portrayed here of
late, no JHR "where is he now" fan, nor any medium to
very intelligent
disgruntled "Great Songs & Everything Local" radio
listener wanting a late
night engaging radio discussion in their right mind is
gonna take the time
to go check him out, not when his very own adoration
society are hammering
those last few nails into his broadcasting coffin!

Think of this site as one giant publicity machine,
constantly churning out
those POSITIVE JHR messages, telling anyone and
everyone that visits - JHR
can be found at this station, at these times and it's
great listening.

The radio phone-in has become about as rare as
something funny from David
Baddiel's mouth, expected to become extinct within 5
years it survives,
just, in small pockets scattered around the country.
Of the one that
features the hero of this site, it eeks out it's
living tagged onto 20 hours
of "Hit Music" as though a detention, where wind-up
phone calls and evening
"Presenters" appearing at another nite club or other
are the proud and
staple diet. In my part of this once fine land
(Northampton) I am forced to
listen (when I can) via the net, engaging late night
phone-in's died here in
the early 90's, when the "Better Music Mix" moved in.

The 4 or 5 years that the late night radio phone-in
has left on death row
before the radio industry's "wise men" finally strap
in to the gurney -
(you're terminated fucker) needs to be appreciated,
assist it not to it's
eventual execution chamber.

Manchester has a late night radio phone-in, sitting
back in the radio studio
from which it comes 5 nights a week, supping endless
cups of tea, munching
on jaffa cakes and running out for a nicotine blast
during every news
bulletin is, quite probably, Britian's greatest ever
radio talk show host -
"ya know ya know ya know"

Ask not what the JHR radio phone-in can do for you -
but, what you can do,
for the JHR radio phone-in!

Nuff said?

DG.

[James H Reeve
Appreciation Club] Hi Group
>Date: Fri, 15 Jul
2005 18:21:51
-0000
>
>Hi Group, James is almost halfway
through his
probationary period,
>things are not going well,
so make the most of
his short-lived return.
>His removal will be
almost a re-run of a few
weeks ago. An anonymous
>complainant, ofcom, no
support from key103,
they will use the
>cliche "left with no
option but to let James
go". They know they can do
>it, the ploy is
tried and tested.
What will happen to James?, exactly
>the same as
Mr. Stannage,
unemployable! by the media moguls. What are
>his
options?, you are
staring at it. Check out the terms VOIP and
SKYP,
>the beginnings of
the demise of Radio, TV and newspapers.
The
>media,James, but not as
we know it.
>
>
