His mistreatment may be down to the fact that he doesn't conform too
easily and won't give an inch when he feels he is right.
Damn fine qualities if you ask me.
I too hated the ads but got around it by recording his show on an SD card
off a digital radio, then transferring them onto an mp3 player which I could
listen to whenever it suited, to and from work usually, skipping through the
ads.
Because I couldn't listen to three hours a day I had to start writing them
to
dvd ( I still haven't reached his final show yet )
I'd love some of his earlier stuff and dread the thought of searching for
something remotely interesting on my half hour journey to work soon.
Fingers crossed he'll pop up again somewhere.
