Can anyone remember the old FM frequency of Piccadilly Radio before it moved
to 103 FM?

I recently listened to an mp3 of a programme James did in Oct 2005 - it was
the night that the phones wouldn't work for 90 mins and James just rambled
on for all that time - but just before midnight Shaun (the
phone-answerer/producer) played some old jingles as he had been rambling
with one of the first callers to air around 11.40 with memories of the old
Piccadilly Radio. Anyway, one of the jingles went something like
"Piccadilly Radio 97 FM" and James thought it was funny as it didn't bother
mentioning the "point 3".

But Red Rose Radio (with Allan Beswick on at the time) used to be on 97.3 FM
and they moved to 97.4FM around the same time Piccadilly moved to 103FM -
and I remember Piccadilly and Red Rose were nearby with their frequencies,
but it definitely wasn't the same as Red Rose as I used to listen to Allan
Beswick on Friday nights when James was not on.

Unless they were on the same frequency and I used to listen to Beswick on
999AM ???

Can anyone remember for certain??

Simon
