Re: bloody hell...

You and Frazier Bloody Chorus. yes, it makes me laugh even now.
Make a wish in your dream kitchen. Remember Hatcheck Girl by The
Indian Seekers? Classic, authentic, Key 103 pop along with Julia
Fordham and Tanita Tikaram. We've all moved on, but who can leave
those tracks behind?

Remember Becky Want's reinvention as "rebecca want"?

I too have the 'official' James H Reeve tape although I haven't
listened to it for 14 years. The Bumbly Bee was a classic.

James H Reeve followed Phil Wood into the 10pm slot after about
1986/1987. Both of them followed Timmy Mallett, until Steve Penk
unfortuitously took over and ruined things.

Sam Pearce! Must be dead now, real socialist old-timer. He was as
instructive, informative and educational as James himself; where
would we be without their influence - probably voting
inappropriately for a kick off. I assume you (S-M) are not still a
Tory? And that you will be supporting Tony in your postal voting?

You are right in saying that your route into radio was more
fascinating than your bus tales. Perhaps you would persuade your
BBC bosses to (i) reinstate James and stop being such a bunch of
w**kers about those racism allegations and (ii) offer us both a talk
show job. I could boost your ratings by at least 30. You could be
the comedy Dave to my Chris Moyles. Although, obviously, I would do
the comedy.
